Gallaudet Univeristy
Mission and Goals

Mission

Information Technology Services (ITS) provides essential technology resources and support to University students, faculty, staff and the Gallaudet campus community. ITS is committed to providing services that fulfill community needs and facilitate individual growth. ITS accomplishes this through customer satisfaction, open communication, reliable performance, accessible resources, and IT security that are in alignment with the established standards of Higher Education.

Goals

Communication: ITS strives for communications that are designed to be timely, clear, informative, and efficient in its distribution to the community.

Performance: ITS consistently monitors, assesses, and reviews its performance to ensure the highest level of support and resources are provided to the campus community.

Resources: ITS refines and implements resources that are easily accessible, meet individual needs, and are designed in the best interest of the campus community.

Security: ITS continually incorporates industry best practices by maintaining and implementing its policies and procedures that define standards for safe computing, resource security, and data integrity.
