The Art Department offers you a comprehensive program that covers the breadth of art history. Our small student-to-faculty ratio ensures individual attention and helps you discover and pursue your interests and strengths.
The curriculum begins with general survey courses that lead to further in-depth investigations of various artistic styles and periods spanning East and West, ancient and contemporary. To complement your studies, you are encouraged to participate in off-campus internships at the renowned museums, galleries, art organizations, and historic sites in the D.C. area.
