Beth was born in Florida and raised as a Navy brat. Her early life was mostly spent in San Diego, California, Chesapeake Bay, and Alexandria, Virginia. She graduated from California School for the Deaf, Riverside in 1986 and graduated from Gallaudet in 1991.
Prior to her arrival to Gallaudet University in January 2012 to work at the Career Center as a Career Consultant, Beth worked as an Outreach Specialist with Postsecondary Education Program Network- Midwest region in St Paul, Minnesota from 2007-2012. Before that, she worked as Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students Specialist with the Support Services at Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, Massachusetts from 2002-2007.
She currently resides in Maryland with her three children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her kids, family and friends. She also enjoys reading, power walking and traveling, especially to her summer beach home in Rye Beach, New Hampshire.
