Short Biography

Deb hails from North Carolina and graduated from the North Carolina School for the Deaf. She went to mainstream school for four years prior to entering NCSD. Upon graduating from Gallaudet University, she started her career at Model Secondary School for the Deaf as a Resident Assistant. She continued in that position for five years. When Deb received her master’s degree she moved into the Coordinator of Residence Education position at the Northwest Campus and worked there for four years. Deb then moved to the Career Center and had various positions within the department and currently works as a Career Consultant. Deb has a great love for dogs; she has owned several dogs over the years and currently has two living with her in Maryland.
