MSSD Students Win Awards in ASL Competition

The Marie Jean Philip ASL Poetry. Storytelling and Deaf Art Competition was created as a tribute to Marie Jean Philip, a tireless advocate for deaf children. The 14th annual competition was held on Friday, April 1, and two MSSD students won awards for their entries.

Adrian Saylor placed first in the Open competition in the ASL Poetry category.
