History Through Deaf Eyes Posters (set of 10 different posters)
The History Through Deaf Eyes posters are based on panels from the History Through Deaf Eyes exhibition that traveled across the country. These posters illustrate the unique social history of the Deaf community through objects and images that bring to life the shared experiences of family life, education, and work as well as the divergent ways deaf people see themselves, communicate, employ and adapt available technology, and determine their own futures.

History Through Deaf Eyes Storybook
Cathryn Carroll, Editor
In this storybook, students on a field trip to a museum visit an imaginary exhibition and meet statues of deaf people from the past who provide a glimpse into what we know about deaf people through history. With full-page illustrations by artist Val Nelson-Metlay, the storybook provides an easy-to-read overview of the history of deaf people from the earliest records to the present day.

History Through Deaf Eyes Teacher's Guide
Cathryn Carroll, Editor
This guide can be used in conjunction with the storybook or independently. It is designed for teachers in sixth- to eighth-grade settings in general education programs as well as in deaf education. It focuses on the development of the American Deaf community, provides some general information about American Sign Language, and offers classroom activities for students and teachers.
