Registration now open for Keys to Success Training for Site CoordinatorsThe Clerc Center's Shared Reading Project (SRP) is a nationally acclaimed program designed to teach parents and other caregivers how to read to their deaf and hard of hearing children using American Sign Language and how to use strategies to make book sharing more effective. The Shared Reading Project: Keys to Success training is designed to prepare site coordinators to establish the SRP at their own schools, programs, local libraries or community centers. The training covers topics such as preparing staff, communicating with families, engaging tutors, setting up a lending library of Shared Reading Book Bags, and budget planning and advertising.
