Signing Gospel is a popular form of musical entertainment. Originating from African roots, southern gospel music was brought to America through the slave trade. This unique style of music had carried and revitalized many audiences spiritually. Each winter energetic performers converge on stage from DC, Maryland, and Virginia area churches, deaf ministries and choirs to share their music about God and spirituality through sign language.
The concert is co-sponsored by Multicultural Student Programs and the Office of Campus Ministries. The concert is open to the general public and admission is FREE. All are welcome. Be sure to arrive early, as seating is limited.
