Seeking a liberal religious community?

Special Invitation to Members of the Deaf Community

Looking for a spiritual community that respects and nurtures your individual beliefs? The Unitarian Universalist Church of Silver Spring is a liberal religious community that includes deaf members and friends in its services and activities. ASL interpretation is provided every Sunday at our 9:30 a.m. service. Miako Rankin is our principal interpreter.

We have designed our Sunday, October 6, 9:30 a.m. service to be particularly welcoming to new and returning deaf visitors. Join us and find out what UUCSS is all about!

What is Unitarian Universalism?
Here's a VERY brief response to get you started: "Our Unitarian Universalist faith has evolved through a long history, with theological origins in European Christian traditions. Today Unitarian Universalism is a non-creedal faith which allows individual Unitarian Universalists the freedom to search for truth on many paths. While our congregations uphold shared principles, individual Unitarian Universalists may discern their own beliefs about spiritual, ethical, and theological issues." More information about Unitarian Universalism is available at www.uua.org.
