Mr. Walter Collins

Walt Collins has over 12 years of higher education admissions, analytic, strategic planning and executive leadership experience in both the nonprofit and proprietary college arenas. He has served as assistant director of admissions, director of admissions analytics, recruiting and training and most recently as campus president. Additionally, Walt served in both the Marine Corps and the Army, receiving an honorable discharge at the rank of Major.
Collins received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Colorado Christian University with a double major of Business Administration and World Religions, and a Master of Divinity degree from Golden Gate Seminary with an emphasis in nonprofit management and administration.
He first became involved and passionate about the deaf community while serving in the leadership of two deaf churches in the Denver area, and organizing several community service events and projects for deaf senior citizens.
Walt enjoys time with his three children, Sara, 21, Daniel, 18, and Hanna 13. His pastimes include fitness, reading and hiking.
All members of the campus community are encouraged to attend the public presentations and to complete a presentation evaluation form immediately afterwards. Faculty are asked to please be flexible in excusing students to attend the presentation, if possible.
