India is one of the oldest civilizations in the world! India is a truly fascinating and unique country. It offers a myriad of learning experiences – a diverse treasure trove of cultures, languages, traditions, arts, cuisines, and humanity. This course will help students increase their knowledge of the educational, social and economic conditions of deaf people in the Indian subcontinent.

This is a one-credit online course. Students interested in signing up for the 12-day India Study Abroad Program from December 29, 2013 to January 12, 2014 will register for an additional credit. The tour program offers exposure to the "real" India. Students will have an opportunity to visit various cities, deaf schools and organizations, and experience the multiple socio-cultural aspects of the country, through sightseeing and participation in cultural events.

Participants will be required to sign up for DST 495.02 or PST 257OL, either the 1-credit (online class only) or the 2-credit course, online class and 14-days, December 29, 2013 - January 12, 2014, in India.

Cost: $4,000 - All exclusive deal which includes transportation and luxury accomodations.
