Interpreted meditation class in Bethesda, Md.

Interested in meditation? The Insight Meditation Community of Washington will hold ASL-interpreted meditation classes in Bethesda on Wednesday, July 17 and Wednesday, August 7 from 7:30 to 9 pm. at 6301 River Road in Bethesda, Md.

Insight meditation cultivates our natural wisdom and compassion. Meditation practice develops concentration, which allows us to calm and steady the mind. This class includes 1/2 hour of Vipassana meditation instruction and guided meditation followed by an hour-long dharma talk. This is a large gathering of approximately 250-300 people.

Newcomers to meditation and long-time practitioners are welcome to attend. No registration is necessary, but please arrive early to secure a spot in front of the interpreter.
