NEH humanities grant writing workshop at Catholic University
Are you interested in learning about the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) grant proposal process? The Catholic University of America (CUA) is pleased to host Russell Wyland, deputy director, and Mary Macklem, senior program officer, from NEH's Division of Research Programs to campus for a workshop on NEH grant opportunities. Faculty from all D.C. colleges and universities are invited to participate.
Wednesday, February 26, Pryzbyla University Center, Room 321
Noon-1:15 p.m., Intro to NEH programs and initiatives
1:30-3, NEH review process overview (mock review panel) and strategies for competitive applications
Space is limited, so please RSVP to CUA-OSP@cua.edu by February 20. Questions about sign language interpreters and other accommodations should also be directed to CUA-OSP@cua.edu.
In addition to the general sessions, it will be possible for faculty with NEH-ready projects already in mind to schedule a short (15-20 minutes) session of one-on-one time with the NEH personnel. To request an individual session, please submit a one page abstract of the proposed project and indicate if you prefer a morning or afternoon appointment to CUA-OSP@cua.edu by February 20. Individual sessions will be scheduled as they are requested, and every effort will be made to accommodate preferences.
As parking is very limited on the CUA campus, METRO is the preferred method of transportation. The Brookland-CUA station is a short walk from the Pryzbyla Center.
