Operation Green Light - Update as of September 12
As part of our campus-wide energy conservation project, engineering teams from the Facilities Department will be retrofitting the lighting in classrooms, offices, and conference rooms with energy efficient solutions. Additionally, you will see installation teams updating and replacing exterior lighting throughout the campus, all while keeping DeafSpace, energy savings, & safety in mind.
Campus-wide lighting retrofit installations began the week of August 12 and targeted for completion December 31, 2013.
We have increased the 5-person installation teams and are ahead of schedule. The week of September 9, 2013, the teams continued working in JSAC. For the week of September 18, road crews with bucket-trucks will be installing exterior and roadway lighting.
