SL2Hub-DC call for abstracts - deadline EXTENDED

Gallaudet University will host SL2Hub-DC, an interdisciplinary student led conference on sign Language, March 27-29, 2014.

Abstracts for presentations, workshops, and posters are currently being accepted.

The deadline to submit an abstract has been extended to Sunday, October 20!

Test a hypothesis using a shared data set from Wayne Betts Jr.'s TedTalk, 'Deaf Lens', share the research project you are working on in class, or lead a workshop that allows others to explore your discipline's approaches to sign language research.  The possibilities are endless.  This conference is not only about results and findings, but also about growing in our understanding of the process and coming together as students of the sign language research community.  Come be part of the conversation!

We welcome abstracts in the following areas:

Linguistics (any subfield)
Deaf Studies
ASL Studies
Interpreting Studies
Communication Studies
Other related fields
