University of Maryland symposium: 'Inclusion and Outcomes: Where Policy and Disability Meet'
The University of Maryland's School of Public Policy is hosting an afternoon symposium on Thursday, March 27, noon-7 p.m., entitled "Inclusion and Outcomes: Where Policy and Disability Meet."" The event features keynote speaker former Congressman Steve Bartlett, who worked on the Americans with Disabilities Act. After the keynote, there will be breakout sessions discussing various topics, including employment, education, health, and international development, and their relationship to the disability community. The event will conclude with a happy hour/networking event.
