Return of Merchandise
If it is necessary for you to return merchandise purchased with a Gallaudet purchase order, please contact the Purchasing Department at Ext. 5533. They will handle the logistics of the return.
Merchandise costing more than $5,000 is given a Gallaudet inventory ID by the Distribution Center before it is delivered to the appropriate department.
Used Furniture & Equipment
The Distribution Center also stores, for a limited time, used furniture and equipment. These items are available without cost to departments. If your department is in need of used furniture or equipment, send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. You will be advised as to whether the items needed are available, and, if they are, given a time when you can look at the pieces in the Distribution Center.
Removal of Used Furniture & Equipment
If your office has used or obsolete furniture and/or equipment you would like removed, press on the Facilities Request Form link on this page. If the items are inventoried and have a Gallaudet ID on them, please complete the Furniture & Equipment Inventory Form, attaching one copy to the furniture and/or equipment and keeping a copy for your files.
