After completing her Bachelor's degree, Raschelle began working for Head Start preschool program in Kansas City, Missouri. That experience helped to build the foundation for future teaching opportunities. Raschelle has taught in general, special, and deaf education classrooms in a variety of environments. Currently, she has been teaching at Gallaudet for 8 years and has taught courses in the teaching deaf students with disabilities certificate program, assessment courses, and curriculum. Her research interest include the attrition and retention of special education teachers and deaf learners with autism. Raschelle has presented and written articles related to these topics. In addition, she was a Fulbright Specialist to Ireland in 2015.
