Course Sequence

The International Development M.A. degree is worth 36 credit hours. Students are able to study full time by taking 9 credits (3 courses) per semester and graduate in two years.  Otherwise, students can study part-time and take classes one or two at a time. Please be careful, as some courses are prerequisites for others.

It is strongly suggested that students begin their coursework for the Master's Degree in the Fall semester since courses are sequential. Beginning the program in the Spring may preclude a student from being able to graduate within two years of full time study.

In order to move into the second year of studies, the students will post their portfolio on the GDOC Blackboard Content System at the completion of course work prior to the initiation of the practicum. The portfolio will be graded as pass/fail.
