Amii Limpp is from Santa Rosa, CA and graduated in 2011. Working in the Office of Special Education and Rehabiliaion Services, U.S. Department of Education, gave Amii firsthand experience on the policy making and implementation process and how it affects those with disabilities. Amii completed her practicum with AED: Academy for Educational Development in Washington, DC where she worked in the DSSC: Disability Studies and Services Center. Amii did her internship in Bangkok, Thailand working with the International Labour Organisation on their Decent Work Team, a Disability Inclusion Initiative that works at policy level to promote equal access to skills development and labour markets. Amii has worked as a Disability Consultant for both the ILO and The Victor Pineda Foundation. Her current job is as an Equal Employment Opportunity and Civil Rights Compliance Specialist for the U.S. government in Washington, DC.
