Matthew A. Bennett is a graduate career advisor for the Career Center, and a matriculated student in the Public Administration Program at Gallaudet University. He is a strong advocate of hand-on student career training and manages the Career Center mock interview program. He also works closely with alumni with internship and career preparation. Previously, he was the data management specialist for the Earned Value Management Center at Defense Contract Management Agency under DoD. He traveled all over the United States performing extensive investigations on defense contractors' adherence to established contractual agreements with the military.
During Matthew's undergraduate study at Gallaudet University, he interned at Telecommunication for the Deaf, Inc. and led a prominent research project on Disability and emergency communication technology which was published. In addition, he interned at Defense Contract Management Center through the Workforce Recruitment Program where he was given primary responsibility for several prominent web development and database projects.
In his spare time, Matt enjoys reading, sky-diving, community volunteering, and participating in various community events.
