Short Biography

Dr. Beach joined the Department of Counseling in 1980, and served as the chairperson from 1989 to 2013. He is currently the Director of the School Counseling program. In addition to the administrative responsibilities as director, he teaches courses in career counseling, organization and development, and fieldwork supervision. His primary scholarly interests are in the areas of natural helping systems, grant writing, program development and mediation.
