Nancy DeWitt
 
Short Biography
Nancy DeWitt, a staff interpreter for GIS, is a Certified Deaf Interpreter (CDI) and has been interpreting professionally since 1997. Nancy has been with GIS since 2004. Nancy has a Bachelor's degree in ASL Studies from Gallaudet University. Her interests and areas of expertise include tactile, close-vision and team interpreting in the areas of Deaf History and Art. Nancy is also an adjunct faculty member in the Interpreter Training Program at the Community College of Baltimore County in Catonsville.
