Ariel Pearson
 
Short Biography
Ariel Pearson, a GIS Interpreter since 2004, holds a National Interpreter Certificate: Master, Certificate of Interpretation (CI), Certificate of Transliteration (CT) from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf.  In addition, Ariel holds a Master of Arts in Women Studies from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Deaf Studies: Communication Sciences from California State University at Northridge. Ariel has worked as a freelance interpreter in both the Washington DC Metropolitan Area as well as the San Francisco Bay Area, where she is from originally. Her area of interests include multiculturalism, gender, and the humanities.
