Sandra Thompson
 
Short Biography

Sandra, is an American Sign Language Interpreter originally from Kentucky. NIC certified in 2007, she has worked in a variety of setting in both staff and freelance positions.  She received her Bachelors degree in Interpreting from Eastern Kentucky University in 2006. She made the decision to relocate to D.C. in 2012 and has not looked back.  She is currently pursuing a masters degree in Public Administration, and hopes to apply this new knowledge to the interpreting field.  Her special interests of interpreting include legal, music, and mentorship. She is elated to be a part of the Gallaudet team and enjoys all of the professional challenges that Gallaudet has to offer.
