SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Susan Davis began her academic librarian career in 1975 at the University of Baltimore. She joined the Gallaudet University Library staff in May, 1989. She has developed and managed several library public services at Gallaudet, such as interlibrary loan, periodicals access, circulation, electronic reserves and course reserves, and participated in reference service and materials selection. In 2006, Susan moved to a position in the Collection Management Department, providing behind-the-scenes materials organization services and ALADIN catalog management to support the Library's public services and the Archives Department. Susan retired in July of 2011 but still volunteers in the Library regularly, assisting with a variety of projects.
