Jamie Yost is a GIS Staff Interpreter and holds NAD IV and NIC: Master certifications. Jamie has a B.A. in English and Psychology from Flagler College, Fla. and a M.S. in Administration and Supervision from Gallaudet University. Jamie began her interpreting career in St. Augustine, Fla. in 2001 and continued her work in the Washington, DC area with Gallaudet Interpreting Service and surrounding agencies in 2003. Her preferred areas of work include higher education, administration, conferences, and mental health settings. She began coordinating staff mentoring for GIS in the fall of 2011 and works to develop a solid but ever evolving mentoring program to serve GIS staff. When she is not working, Jamie enjoys spending her time cooking, reading, and creating humor with her daughter, Hazel.
