Sandra Thompson
Short Biography

Sandra is an American Sign Language Interpreter originally from Kentucky. NIC certified in 2007, she has worked in a variety of settings, both staff and freelance positions.  She received her Bachelors degree in Interpreting from Eastern Kentucky University in 2006. Sandra made the decision to relocate to D.C. in 2012 to advance her career and education.  She is currently pursuing a masters degree in Public Administration, and hopes to apply this new knowledge to the interpreting field.  Her special interests in the field include legal, music, and mentorship. She is elated to be a part of the Gallaudet team and enjoys all of the professional challenges that Gallaudet has to offer.
