The GURCs work with the Office of Regional and National Outreach (RNO) to coordinate many of their activities with a variety of departments across the university, including the Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Center.
The GURC Southeast office addresses the educational, transition, and professional development needs of deaf and hard of hearing people from birth through adulthood, their families, and the professionals who work with them. The GURC offers extension courses, technical assistance and workshops to help address them.
