B.A. in Philosophy

Philosophy Major
Suggested Four-Year Course Schedules

Total Major Credits: 30
GSR Credits: 40, General Elective Credits: 50

Below are two suggested schedules, intended to help students plan their coursework toward a philosophy major.  The first assumes students begin the major during their freshman year.  Since students often do not discover their love for philosophy until later, the second (more concentrated) schedule may be a better fit for students beginning the major in the second half of their sophomore year.
