Rank and salary commensurate with degree, experience and qualifications. All reclassifications must be approved by the appropriate administrators. Several factors are taken into consideration before the reclassification, including demonstrated increased competencies appropriate to the next higher-level job, performing at a satisfactory level in their current position, and the department must have a genuine need for the higher level work.

Executive Secretary (Level 6)
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum two years of professional experience in office support (high school diploma/GED and a minimum of six years of professional experience in office support will be considered). Good writing and editing skills with evident command of English grammar and spelling. Experience with computer software programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Publisher) and with file and database maintenance.


Executive Assistant (Level 8)
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of professional experience in office support in an upper administrative level (high school diploma/GED and a minimum nine years of office support experience at an upper administration level will be considered). Excellent writing and editing skills with evident command of English grammar and spelling. Strong experience with computer software programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Publisher) and with file and database maintenance.
