Corporate and Foundation Relations at Gallaudet University

Gallaudet University has a long history of working with corporate sponsors. We value their support in advancing the mission and providing various opportunities for students. It is the responsibility of the Development Office to foster productive and rewarding experiences for our corporate friends and the university. Key to this responsibility is being aware of sponsorship-related activities (e.g., people on campus contacting potential sponsors or being approached by companies interested in sponsoring an event, program, or project).

The Development Office wants to encourage and support efforts to garner sponsorships and to help optimize such opportunities on campus. For students, faculty, and staff, when engaged in a possible sponsorship opportunity, it is required to inform the Development Office. You can do this by simply sending an email to with the following information:

  • Corporations expecting to contact/or have been contacted by
  • Corporate personnel in touch with - names, positions, contact information
  • Type of sponsorship and activity
  • When and where
  • Expected/desired amount
  • Student/faculty/staff group and contact

After receiving the above information, we will contact you and discuss how we can best support your efforts.
