Kendall Parent Teacher Association
The Kendall Parent Teacher Association (KPTA) strives to support and speak on behalf of students in the school, to assist parents and guardians in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children, and to encourage family involvement in the school.
Family involvement is the foundation that guides the work of KPTA and supports the crucial role that parents and guardians play in education. KPTA seeks to provide opportunities for promoting meaningful parent/guardian and family participation; identify effective programming; and provide guidelines for developing, evaluating, and improving parent/guardian involvement.
KPTA sponsors several annual events to encourage parent/guardian involvement, including Back to School Night in the fall, the Winter Festival, and the Spring Fever Picnic at the end of the school year. KPTA also does fundraisers to support school-wide programs such as Reading Is Fundamental, Literacy Night, and the Academic Bowl.
