Occupational and Physical Therapy Services
Occupational therapy (OT) and physical therapy (PT) services provide students with skill development in areas that directly impact their level of achievement in academics, literacy, and social-emotional growth. Some students develop skills to sign in a clearer, more concise, and fluid manner. Some work on balance, environmental awareness, and tolerance to stimuli as well as the ability to walk in an environment with increased safety. Younger students learn to dress and feed themselves independently. OT and PT services help students develop a positive self-image and ultimately make positive contributions to the school and the community.
