Fall Showcase: The Little Mermaid
Directed by Selena Alvarez

Little Mermaid under the sea
In Hans Christian Andersen's classical children's tale, Ariel, a young mermaid who lives under the sea, longs to know about life on shore. A fierce storm causes a shipwreck, and Ariel rescues the human Prince Eric. She falls in love, "swept off her fins" by the handsome man. Her father, King Triton, wants her to stay at home. Ariel turns to the Wicked Sea Witch to help her transform into a human. With the support of her friends Flounder, Sebastian, and Scuttle, Ariel embarks on an adventure to find out if she belongs to the sea or to the land.
