The Gallaudet University Office of Alumni Relations is pleased to announce the launch of a new television show, “Alumni NOW.” The half-hour long program is composed of three segments in which alumni discuss news, developments, and events at Gallaudet.

In the first program, Gallaudet University Alumni Association President Alyce Slater Reynolds, '76 & G-'78, Nicholas Gould, '09, Elvia Guillermo, '03, David Reekers, G-'06, and Fred Weiner, '88, discussed the 25th anniversary of Deaf President Now, the development of buildings and resources on campus over the years, and profiled Dr. Gerald “Bummy” Burstein, a beloved member of the Gallaudet community who gave a generous donation to the university to establish the G. “Bummy” Burstein Leadership Institute.

“Gallaudet University is a cherished place for the tens of thousands of alumni around the world and many like to stay informed about what’s happening on campus,” said Gallaudet University President T. Alan Hurwitz.  “Alumni NOW” is a great tool to keep alumni connected to their alma mater no matter how far away they are from Kendall Green.”
