On May 24, 2017, Gallaudet and Western Piedmont Community College established a collaborative agreement which allows students in WPCC’s Associate of Applied Science in Interpreter Education degree program to transfer credits into Gallaudet's BAI program.

NCAA approves changes to allow use of Reaction Light Systems at swim meets

Gallaudet swimmers, and the Gallaudet community, had much to celebrate when the NCAA Playing Rules Oversight panel approved changes on June 13, 2017, allowing the use of Reaction Light Systems at swim meets. The lighting system already made its debut at the 2016-17 NEAC Swimming and Diving Championships at Cazenovia College, held February 10-12.
