Spring 2015 Schedule beginning Monday, February 2015
Rock climbing is an activity in which participants climb up, down or across natural rock formations or artificial rock walls. The goal is to reach the top of a formation of the endpoint of a pre-defined route without falling. To successfully complete a climb, one must return to the base of the route safely.
Rock climbing is a physically and mentally demanding sport that can test a climber's strength, endurance, agility, balance and mental and emotional limits.
Rock Gym Hours: (Field House - downstairs - racket court area)
· Sunday 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
· Monday to Thursday 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
FREE ADMISSION with Gallaudet's ID card
Climbing shoes - $3.00 rental fee *Guest - $5.00 per session includes shoes*
*Groups and parties can be arranged. A fee will be charged to cover the expense of staffing the Rock Gym. The number of people expected and the length of time reserved for climbing will determine the fee.
