Chairs: 

By now you have received via email the information (or "Call") on the Program Prioritization data collection and rating process (see email on Monday, March 22). That email contains all instructions for setting up your shared drive and accessing the template (PC and later email MAC). In the shared drive you will see one template for EACH program that consumes resources in your Dept or Unit. If you feel the programs are not accurately defined contact Kubby or Pat at Program.Prioritization@gallaudet.edu. 

 

You, or your designated Dept member, has until April 30 to complete the PP Data Collection Template.

  

Important Notes:

It is important that you complete the template on-line in the shared drive. This enables OIR and others (Deans, Budget Directors) to add institutional data where possible. Do NOT download the template as that will prevent OIR from adding the institutional data to your template. You CAN cut and paste responses from a Word document into the template.

 

Chairs, OIR and PPTF have been given access to the shared drive. If you want someone else in your Dept or Unit to complete a program template, contact Pat Hulsebosch and she will add access for that person.

 

If you have difficult "mapping" or setting up your shared drive you can:

1) Read the directions (PC and MAC have been sent)

2) Request support from an OAQ GA who has been taught to map shared drives

3) Send a Helpdesk request 

 

OIR expects to complete entry to institutional data by April 7. Any questions you have about that data can be discussed by contacting Daryl Frelich our Institutional Data Administrator.  

 

Resources: OIR data definitions, lists of programs for each Dept, the finalized criteria matrix and many other reference documents are available to all AA faculty and staff at the Program Prioritization Blackboard AND (most documents) at   http://pptf.gallaudet.edu/

 

This week three information Forums are being held: Monday, Tuesday at 8:30 am (SAC 1011) and Friday at 12 (MLC). 

 

We realize this is a challenging task, particularly at this time of the year. However, the future of Gallaudet resource planning is dependent on the prioritization being undertaken by this TF (for academic programs) as well as the 2nd task force for non-academic programs.
