Registration Dates - Fall 2017

Undergraduate

Currently enrolled GU students receive registration information through their Gallaudet University e-mail account.

  • Priority registration groups are eligible to register for Fall courses beginning 9:00 am on Monday, April 10, 2017.
  • General continuing Undergraduate Students are eligible to register for Fall courses beginning 9:00 am on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 according to the priority registration schedule below.
  • New Undergraduate Students should consult with their academic advisor for registration information.
  • Undergraduate Special students should consult with their academic advisor for registration information.

  • OSWD - Mon, April 10, 2017
  • Honors - Mon, April 10, 2017  
  • Athletics - Mon, April 10, 2017
  • Second Degree - Tue, April 11, 2017
  • Senior (90+) - Tue, April 11, 2017
  • Junior (56-89) - Wed,  April 12, 2017
  • Sophomore (25-55) - Thu, April 13, 2017
  • Freshman (0-24) - Fri, April 14, 2017
  • New Admitted Undergraduate Students -  See Academic Advisor,  August 20 to September 1, 2017
  • General Registration Continues -  April 21, 2017 to September 2, 2017
  • Add/Drop Period for Undergraduate students ($5 fee for each successful transaction) - August, 28 to September 1, 2017

Graduate

Currently enrolled GU students receive registration information through their Gallaudet University e-mail account.

  • Continuing Graduate Students are eligible to register for Fall courses beginning 9:00 am on Monday, April 10, 2017.
  • New Graduate Students should consult with their academic advisor for registration information.
  • Graduate Special students should consult with their academic advisor for registration information.  
  • Priority registration groups are eligible to register for Fall courses beginning 9:00 am on Monday, April 10, 2017.
  • General Registration Continues for all Graduate Students from April 21 to September 8, 2017.
  • Add/Drop Period for Graduate students ($5 fee for each successful transaction) - January 17 to January 27, 2017.

  • Pay off your full balance.
  • Send your VR counselor the required documents: grades, transcripts, etc.
  • Complete Mandatory Online Business Registration. 
  • All full-time students for the semester must submit health insurance waiver information to Student Financial Services or they will be charged for student health insurance.
