Description: Located in the Baking Pot Central Farm region, near Cayo, Belize, in Central America, is an unusual ministry dedicated to teaching and training Deaf people. CDI provides a free education to Deaf children from all across Belize. Volunteer and staff teach all levels of classes to Deaf students in Sign Language. Students also learn farming, leadership skills, and other helpful life skills.

Description: Stella Maris is the largest special education center in Belize. It also manages the Belize Academy for the Deaf which is at the same location. There are 5 deaf classrooms for children who range in age from 5 to 17.

Description: St. Peter's Anglican School is a Belizean primary school with 275 students. With roughly 45 special needs students it has a unique mission in the surrounding area to serve children with various disabilities whose village schools are not equipped to serve them. In addition to the three special education classrooms, it has a center-based classroom for deaf children who range in age from 7 to 15. The deaf children use ASL.
