Faculty Row Housing
Living in Ballard, Denison, and Fay Houses, known as Faculty Row Housing or Faculty Row, will enable you to experience living in the University's Historical District. Other buildings in the Historical District include the Edward Miner Gallaudet Residence, Ole Jim, College Hall, Chapel Hall, Fowler Hall, Kendall Hall, and Dawes House.
Ballard House and Fay House have just completed renovation and restoration where they will become a part of the living and learning community like Denison House.
To meet these requirements, you must:
- Be a student at Gallaudet for at least two academic semesters;
- Have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.75 or better;
- Be in good standing with the Office of Residence Life and Housing and the Office of Student Conduct;
- Submit a five-minute (5) YouTube video essay done in American Sign Language (ASL).
MEAL PLANS FOR FACULTY ROW HOUSING
Faculty Row residents are not required to have a meal plan with the University. Residents are able to sign up for an University Meal Plan or Commuter Dining Dollars if they wish to eat at the University Dining Hall, The Marketplace, or the Rathskellar. The room cost is $3,250.00 per semester.

Faculty Row Housing will consist of a living and learning community led by Residence Life Staff and a Faculty In-Residence (FIR).
