Ms. Kay Amos

Short Biography

Born and raised in the midwest, Kay attended public schools and graduated from Gallaudet University. She recently relocated to the Washington, DC area after working at Abused Deaf Women's Advocacy Services in Seattle, WA, for 11 years.

While at Gallaudet, she worked in various paraprofessional positions, the most recent being was a Housing Program Assistant where she supported the Housing program in various capacities ranging from room assignments to room cancellations to room lottery.

She's a die-hard Starbucks addict and can't imagine life without Starbucks! During her spare time, she enjoys making homemade cards and helping others become organized.

She recently started being involved with Suicide Prevention as she lost her daughter to suicide in 2013. She is also a proud mom of an amazing college-aged son.
