Financial Aid

Graduate students can obtain aid from the following major sources: Gallaudet Grant-In-Aid, College Work-Study, Perkins or Stafford student loans, and scholarships (after you have been accepted).

A limited number of student stipends, waivers, or assistantships are available. Contact your department (after you have been accepted) directly to inquire about the availability of these types of financial aid. Individual student awards (for any type of aid) are made only after all necessary materials are received. The awarding process for the fall semester begins in April.

The Financial Aid Office is available to discuss your particular needs and can be contacted at (800) 995-0990 (TTY/V) or (202) 651-5290 (TTY/V).
