Online Graduate Application Instructions
Note: The online application is available each application cycle beginning Fall 2007.
We're happy that you have chosen the online application to apply for graduate admission. We encourage you to complete your entire application online. Please note, if you wish to apply to more than one program, you will need to complete an application form for each program to which you are applying.
The application does not need to be completed in a single session. (Please note that this time frame does not extend past the departmental deadline for submission).
To create an online account you'll need:
- A valid email address.
- An internet service provider that allows you to access a secure server.
To apply online:
If you should experience technical difficulty when applying online, please send an email describing the problem to email@example.com. A member of the Online Graduate Application staff will respond as soon as possible.
For other questions about the application process, please email the Graduate Admissions Office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Note: If you currently have access to Gallaudet's Bison system (bison.gallaudet.edu), go to "Self Service" and then to "Admissions, Create/Edit GRAD Online Apps" to reach the online application pages. All others should click the "Go To Application" link above.
Applicants are encouraged to apply early. Applications and all supporting documents should be received by the Graduate Admissions Office by February 15. Although many departments will accept applications later than this date, most begin to fill their incoming classes in late February. Completing your application by February 15 assures consideration of your materials for placement in the next incoming class. (Note: Applications to the Clinical Psychology program must be received by February 1st. Applications from international applicants should be completed by the end of December to allow time for completing all the requirements involved in issuing a student visa.) Specific application deadlines and other requirements are listed with the information about each program in this catalog.
