The Office of Risk Management and Insurance is to conserve institutional resources by identifying and managing risk. The Office develops safety, claim-prevention, and legal compliance programs for students, faculty, teachers, and staff; procures cost-effective insurance; minimizes the impact of claims against the institution; and supports Gallaudet University's business and academic activities.
