International Visiting Students Program (IVSP)

Many students from around the world with a professional interest in the education of deaf and hard of hearing people, their language, and their history and culture find Gallaudet's non-degree International Visiting Students Program (IVSP) a tremendous learning experience.

The IVSP provides one or two semesters of non-degree study that is customized to meet students' individual needs relating to general or specific areas of deafness.

This is a unique opportunity to gain insights on Gallaudet's many enlightening programs and activities. Courses may be audited or taken for college credit. Each student will be assigned a mentor who is an expert in the particular area the student wishes to learn about. Research Support and International Affairs welcomes your application to the IVSP program. We encourage you to take the time necessary to make sure that the documents in the link are a complete and fair representation of your goals and interests. Our staff is available to assist you throughout the application process. We hope you will soon join our proud and strong community of excellence.

Please open the International Visiting Student and Researcher Profile link to find out about three individuals who benefited from Gallaudet's progrmas for international visiting students and researchers.
