Welcome International Visitors!
Visitors are always warmly welcomed to Gallaudet University's historic campus in Washington, D.C. You are encouraged to observe and learn about the many creative programs and services at our world-renowned institution of higher learning that are designed to educate, train, and empower deaf and hard of hearing people and those who work with them. Gallaudet also is home to the federally funded Laurent Clerc Deaf Education Center, whose mission is to raise the achievement of deaf and hard of hearing students ages birth-21 nationwide by supporting the families and professionals who work with these students.
We are excited to announce that the Gallaudet University Virtual Tour is now live!
Prospective Gallaudet University students should see the tour schedule on the Visitors Center website. Visitors Center tours do not require an appointment. Tours are given in American Sign Language. Please see the Support Services page (click and fill out the 'International Visitor Support Request') to receive an interpreter, and the Admissions Office will contact you. The Admissions Office also will assist with enrollment at Gallaudet.
If you need additional support during your visit (for example, a meeting with an educational administrator), also refer to the Support Services page. Please note that the University requires at least four weeks' notice for special support, and due to limited resources, not all requests can be approved.
