Overview

Student Success works in partnership with key offices across campus to provide students with academic, career, and psycho-social support.

We welcome and orient families and undergraduate students to a variety of changes they can expect as they transition into campus life.

Student Success also offers ongoing Student Academic and Career Success workshops and events offered throughout the academic year, hosted by the Success Coaches and Peer Leaders.

Objectives

  • Welcome and orient families and undergraduate students to the requirements and expectations of university life.
  • Support students during their transition to the learning and teaching environment of Gallaudet University.
  • Provide ongoing academic and social support for students on their academic journey from enrollment to graduation.
  • Provide leadership skills and opportunities to upper-level students in a variety of peer leadership roles.
