. Please note that a tuition waiver does not exclude you from paying the application, unit, and material fees. The waiver covers only tuition and lab fees and is not applicable for non-credit courses of a recreational or leisure nature.
All students with the exception of Gallaudet matriculated Undergraduate and Graduate students are required to pay a non-refundable processing fee of $30. Certificate Program Application Fee
Students applying to a PST Certificate Program must pay a one time $50 non-refundable application fee. Materials/CEU Fees
Costs vary and are noted with course descriptions.
Financial Aid is not available for students who are not enrolled in a degree program at Gallaudet University.
Late Application Fee
A late fee of $50 should be included with all applications submitted or postmarked after the application deadline which is three weeks prior to the start of class. Availability of class and housing is not guaranteed for late applicants.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Office of Summer Programs by the registration deadline for the class
, otherwise no refund will be issued. Application, processing and material fees are not refundable. Full refunds are automatically processed for courses canceled by the University. Refunds may take up to four weeks to process.

Parking on campus is $3 per week or $20 for the entire summer. You are responsible for obtaining a parking permit from the Department of Public Safety (DPS) upon your arrival. All unregistered or illegally parked vehicles will be ticketed. The temporary vehicle registration form is available online
, or one may be obtained at the Department of Public Safety in Carlin Hall.
If your tuition will be paid by VR or your employer, the appropriate paperwork must accompany your application. Complete instructions as to how our office is to bill the authorizing agent must also be included.
Student Identification Cards
$15 (Students registering for PST prefixed classes only). Identification cards are issued by the Department of Public Safety (DPS) located on the ground floor of Carlin Hall. Room assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis. Students may choose between single or double occupancy. Due to the limited number of single rooms available, there is no guarantee that a request for a single room will be honored. If you do not make a selection on the housing form, you will be placed in a double occupancy room. There is a one time linen fee of $13.00. Only individuals registered for summer programs, 18 years or older or high school graduates, may request individual dormitory housing (no exceptions). No family housing is available.
